About This Wax

IGI 4786 is a paraffin wax designed for container candles, delivering an excellent hot and cold throw. It is not a single-pour wax and will require a second pour to achieve a smooth finish on top, so plan for that extra step when you build it into your process.

It holds a 6 to 10% fragrance load and shows good adhesion to glass containers. With very good burn characteristics, it also tends to require a bit less liquid dye than other waxes to reach your target color, which helps keep your colorant costs down over a run.
