Privacy Policy

Lone Star Candle Supply, Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. This statement describes what information we collect when you interact with our website, our team, or our marketing programs, how we use and share that information, and the choices you have. By using www.lonestarcandlesupply.com, you consent to the practices described here.

Effective date: August 1, 2026. This statement replaces all earlier versions.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you place an order or register for an account, we collect information such as your name, billing and shipping address, email address, and telephone number, along with payment information. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers to bill you for your purchase; we do not store full card numbers on our systems. You also provide information when you contact our customer service team by phone, email, or our contact form, when you sign up for our email or text message programs, when you leave a product review, and when you use tools on our site such as our product assistant. Records of those conversations, including emails, chat transcripts, and notes from phone calls, are kept so we can serve you better over time.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the search terms you use on our site, the page that referred you to us, and the date and time of your visit. We use our own analytics tools and service providers to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and communicate with you about them
  • Provide customer service and respond to your questions
  • Maintain your account and order history
  • Send marketing email and text messages, where you have opted in
  • Improve our website, products, and services
  • Advertise our products, including measuring our advertising and reaching audiences likely to be interested in candle making supplies
  • Protect against fraud and maintain the security of our site
  • Comply with legal obligations

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the ways described below.

Service providers. We use trusted companies to perform services on our behalf, such as processing payments, shipping orders, delivering email and text messages, hosting our website and data, analyzing how our site is used, and monitoring website performance and reliability. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Advertising platforms and audience matching. We work with advertising platforms, including Google and Meta, to make our advertising more relevant and efficient. As part of this, we may share limited customer contact information collected in connection with your orders and account, such as email address and phone number, in a hashed (encoded) form so these platforms can match it against their own user bases. We use this matching to show our ads to audiences similar to our customers, to avoid showing new-customer promotions to people who are already customers, and to measure advertising performance. These platforms are restricted from using this information for any purpose other than providing these services to us, and the hashing process means we do not hand them readable contact details. If you would like your information excluded from this use, Contact Us and we will remove you from future advertising uploads.

Text messaging. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties, excluding the service providers who deliver our messages on our behalf.

Aggregated information. We may share statistics about our website and customers in aggregated form that does not identify any individual.

Legal and business events. We may disclose personal information when necessary to protect ourselves from liability, to respond to legal process or comply with the law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the company.

Cookies, Pixels, and Analytics

We use cookies to support essential website functionality such as the shopping cart, wish lists, and staying signed in to your account, to analyze how the site is used, and to support our advertising. Cookies are small data files placed on your device; they cannot run programs or deliver viruses.

Our website also uses tags (sometimes called pixels or web beacons) from our advertising partners, including Google and Meta. These tags may set cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, the products you view, and the purchases you complete. We and these partners use this to measure which advertising is effective and to show you more relevant ads. You can limit cookies in your browser settings, though some site features such as the cart require them, and you can manage ad personalization through the settings offered by Google and Meta on their own platforms.

Our marketing emails include our own measurement of whether a message was opened and which links were clicked, so we can tell which emails are useful and stop sending what isn't. This measurement is ours and our email delivery provider's, working on our behalf; we do not embed advertising platforms' tags in our emails.

Email and Text Message Marketing

We send marketing email and text messages only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. For text messages, reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance; message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Opting out of marketing does not affect the emails and messages we send about your orders.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Access and update your information by logging in to your account and editing it there.
  • Request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us through our Contact Us page. We will honor your request except where we need to keep records to complete transactions, meet legal requirements, or prevent fraud.
  • Opt out of marketing using the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying STOP to any text message.
  • Opt out of advertising audience matching by contacting us as described above.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, Contact Us or write to the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this statement, including maintaining your order history for customer service, and as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

Security

We protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections to our website and access controls that limit who on our team can view customer data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices as our systems change.

Children's Privacy

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Changes to This Statement

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of our website after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised statement. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
