About This Wax

IGI 4761 is a special blend designed to make low-shrink paraffin votive candles. It shrinks less than waxes like the IGI 4794, and that minimal shrinkage means standard-size votives do not require a second pour, saving you a full step in your production process.

It offers great mold release and good burn characteristics, holding a 6% fragrance load for well-scented votives. Pour at 160 to 170F for the cleanest results. This is a practical votive wax for makers who want reliable release and far fewer touch-ups on every batch.
