About This Wax
IGI 4636, formerly known as Astorlie J-50, is a paraffin wax designed for making container candles. It is considered a low-shrink wax, which means you only need to pour once in most applications and can skip the second pour that many other container waxes require.
It holds a 6 to 10% fragrance load, offering good scent throw and very good burn characteristics. That combination makes it a straightforward, time-saving choice for chandlers producing paraffin container candles in volume who want reliable results without extra steps.
