Here's what you'll need:

A fragrance oil of your choice (make sure it's safe for your desired application)
VersaMist Room Spray Base
Room Spray Bottle With Fine Mist Sprayer
Measuring cup, pitcher, or glass beaker
A digital scale
A spatula, whisk, or spoon

Step 1: Clean Your Supplies & Workspace

Wash your spray bottles and measuring containers with warm, soapy water and let them dry completely. Use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to wipe down your workspace. A clean environment will help prevent contaminants from affecting your finished spray.

Step 2: Measure Your Base

Using a scale, weigh the desired amount of VersaMist Room Spray Base into a clean pitcher or beaker.
Tip: If you're using our 16oz Room Spray Bottle with Fine Mist Sprayer, measure out 13 oz of the base.

Step 3: Check the IFRA Certificate

Choose your fragrance oil and refer to its IFRA certificate to determine the safe maximum usage level for your application. The percentages will vary depending on whether you're making a room spray, linen spray, or body mist. You can find the IFRA certificate for each of our fragrances under the "Technical Information" tab on that fragrance oil's product page.

Step 4: Measure Your Fragrance Oil

Using a separate beaker or measuring cup, weigh the appropriate amount of fragrance oil on a scale based on the IFRA guidelines. While some IFRA maximums may be higher, VersaMist is designed to hold up to 10% fragrance oil.
