About This Wax
IGI 4625 is a special paraffin blend formulated to make pillar candles. Because it is designed to shrink for a good mold release, a second pour is required to achieve a smooth finish, a small trade-off for the reliable, clean release you get from your molds every time.
The result is a smooth, glossy finish with very good burn characteristics and good scent throw. It holds a 6% fragrance load, which makes it a dependable, forgiving choice for chandlers building out a pillar candle line they can produce consistently at volume.
