About This Wax
IGI 1260 is a high melt point pillar blend designed to make hurricane candles or wax embeds for gel candles. It also works for a range of other applications, from making fire starters to dipping beehive boxes, which makes it a versatile specialty wax to keep on your bench.
Its high 163F melt point helps embeds stand up to heat without bleeding into the surrounding gel, and the wax is semi-translucent for attractive, layered results. It holds a 6% fragrance load, so you can scent your hurricanes and embeds when a project calls for it.
