About This Wax
IGI 1230 is a fully refined base paraffin wax used for container candles. It is not a single-pour wax, so for best results consider pairing it with additives such as Vybar 260 to fine-tune the performance to your specific containers, wicks, and fragrances.
Fragrance oil retention of 3 to 4% is typical, with higher loads achievable when you use additives. Expect good scent throw and good burn characteristics, which makes it a solid foundation wax for makers who like to build and control their own blend from the ground up.
