About This Wax
Golden Brands 494 is a pure soy wax with bio-based additives, FDA-approved and Kosher-certified. It is excellent for making tarts and wax melts, and it creates a fragrance throw comparable to paraffin, so you get a big, room-filling scent from a natural, plant-based base.
It holds a 5 to 10% fragrance load with a 125F melt point, and it delivers a significant reduction in frosting along with great mold release. The wax comes in flake form for easy, accurate measuring, making it a reliable pick for tart and melt makers who want clean results.
