Description
This wax contains a soy-based additive that allows the wax to be poured at hotter temperatures, which helps reduce frosting and increases the fragrance load. It is also both FDA-approved and Kosher-certified.
- Holds an above average amount of fragrance at 9-11%.
- Average pouring temperature is between 125-145°F.
- Melt point - 120-125°F
- Flash point - >600°F
- Comes in flake form which makes it easy to measure by weight.
Pallets may not be available at this time. Please call to inquire.
NOTE: During the hotter months of the year, this wax can slightly melt during shipping to or from our location. It does not hurt the wax or change it's characteristics, other than it will no longer be in a flake form.

444 wax
Review by Mary T. on 12 Dec 2024 review stating 444 wax
I use 444 wax to blend with my Ceda Cerica coconut wax. I also use it in the summertime as it doesn’t melt as fast as coconut. It works beautifully and adds some structure to the coconut wax.
I bought a soy wax from Lonestar a few years ago that I didn’t like that produced bumpy soy tops - but this is setting up nicely with smooth tops.

My Go-To Wax
Review by Karin M. on 4 Dec 2024 review stating My Go-To Wax
I live in a very warm climate and use 444 due its higher melting point. I do experience some frosting and occasional glass adhesion issues, but nothing a heat gun can't take care of. Overall I'm very satisfied and will continue to purchase this wax from Lone Star.

An overall nice product.
Review by Yuliya K. on 17 Oct 2024 review stating An overall nice product.
Wonderful wax that I have been working with for four years now. Once I have discovered this wax, I'm not getting any other soywax for my container candles. Certain fragrances interact differently with it, some are smoother some are rougher, but overall it's a nice product.

Q: Would mixing this with IGI 4625 make a good melt? If so, what would the ratio be?

Lone Star Candle Supply
04/18/23
A: Hi Mark,
I think it will all depend on what exactly you are trying to create.4625 is a pillar wax and the 444 is a soy. Are you making pillar candles? If you are still needing help with this please reach out to our customer service department, we'd love to help.

Q: Can this wax be mixed with another to create wax melts? I accidentally purchased 50 lbs of this when I typically use 464. Ugh.

Lone Star Candle Supply
04/19/23
A: This is mainly used for container candles. I am not sure if its going to be hard enough for wax melts because its really soft.
