Q: For candle melts, how long does the scent last?

A: It truly depends on how much fragrance is used and how often and long you burn the wax melt. Most wax melts will last 2 to 3 days or even longer if you're not burning them all day.

Q: The information above says not soap safe but below that there are recommends percentage uses for soap and body care. Can you confirm if it is body safe or not? Thanks!

A: Butternut Pumpkin is not soap safe. Technically, you could use 0.08% of it per pound of soap or lotion base and it would be safe. But at that percentage, you would not be able to smell the fragrance in your product. If you used more than the 0.08%, you risk the fragrance being an irritant to the skin. For a fragrance to be considered soap safe, it needs to have a percentage of 5%. At that amount, the fragrance is strong enough in the product. I hope that makes sense.

Q: The 4 oz bottle I bought contained 3 oz of liquid by volume. Customer service tells me that it was 4 oz by weight. All the other fragrances I bought measured 4 oz by volume, so this does not make sense to me. Has anyone else experienced this?

A: Shannon,As stated on our website and on the bottle, everything we do is by weight. A 4oz bottle of fragrance will have 4oz of fragrance oil in it when measured by weight. We do not do anything by volume, so this is why you are getting a different number when measuring by volume. Some of the fragrance oils might be 4oz by volume, but not all of them will be since, again, we do not measure by volume. To measure the weight, put a pouring pot or empty bottle on your scale, tare it, and then pour in your fragrance to get the weight.
