The shape of the aroma beads can vary from batch to batch. You may have to adjust the temperature and time you need to bake the beads.
Note: The amount of fragrance oil you can add to your beads will depend on the density of the fragrance oil you are using. If you are using a very dense fragrance oil like our Leather, we recommend using 1oz of fragrance oil per pound of beads. With less dense fragrances like Fruit Slices, you should be able to add up to 2oz per pound of beads. Exceeding the recommended maximum fragrance load may keep the beads from fully absorbing the fragrance oil.

We have not done any testing with essential oils, but you can always do some testing!

You would need to shake the containers your beads are in for a few days and let them cure for about 5 days. The scent can last up to 30days, In hotter temps they can last less.

Make sure you are letting your beads soak, with your fragrance oil, and cure long enough, that you are shaking them often. Let them cure for a day or 2 after they are dry, and you should be good to go.
Lots of freshie groups on Facebook have helped me tremendously! Good luck with your freshie journey!
