A: That's going to depend on the type of soap base that you are using since every base will hold a different amount of fragrance oil.

A: I have used this oil in candles. It is almost impossible to use. It crystalizes in the container and does not mix well with wax. Terrible!

A: I don't use this cranberry, but with any fragrance that gives the percentage use will be the same. If you have 32 ozs. of lotion the most fragrance you can use at 16% would be 5.12 ozs. You take the amount of lotion, wax or whatever you are scenting and multiply it by the percentage it says you can use. In this case 32 times 16% or .16 which is 5.12. Just make sure you always use the same measure, ounces to ounces. You have to convert pounds or gallons to ounces to make this correct. Hope this helps. Just always remember to test first. That is a large percentage of fragrance, I use 1 to 2 percent in my hand lotion. The percentage listed is the max you should use.

A: I would not use this in anything for the body. Use pure essential oil only . This is not a natural product . I wear gloves when I use it. Having said that my guess is it means that the volumn of this product to add to the lotion should not exceed 16 % of the total volumn of the entire volumn of your product. Eg if you are making a gallon of lotion add no more than 16% of a gallon worth of the fragrance. BUT I don't think it's a good idea and candles vs soap or lotion should be different. contact the manufacturer of this product and ask for toxicity report.

A: Chandra, it means that you can safely use up to 16.6 percent of this particular fragrance oil of the total volume of your lotion. Each fragrance oil will vary. For example: if you are making an 8 oz lotion, then you can use up to 1.32 oz of cranberry fragrance oil. If let's say you are making a 4oz batch then only use up to .66 oz. I hope this helps :).Lori

A: All I can really say is it is a nice sent. I make candles. I am assuming it is 16.6 percent out of 100 percent. Wish I could help more.
